Client: Goli Vada Pav

Objective: Goli Vada Pav is an Indian ethnic snack chain, is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The chain’s main offering is the vada pav, a staple Mumbai street food. The franchise retail chain store has grown to a 15 crore business with more than 300 outlets in over 40 cities across India. Having introduced many new outlets, new additions to the menu and online ordering in 2015, they were looking to spice up their marketing campaigns to connect with their customers in creative ways for brand awareness and engagement

Solution: We customized our SMACAR app and augmented the Goli Vada Pav logo. Every time a customer scanned the logo in print or at the store, a 2D animation with audio was displayed on top of the logo to excite the user. Links to Goli’s history and menu helped to engage the user and create awareness. A call to action link displayed the closest Goli stores from the user’s location and facilitated ordering online.
